Studio setup and equipment
Most shoots in the Photo Studio are run using the photographer’s or creator’s own equipment.
You are welcome to bring the lighting, cameras, and gear you normally work with.

*After-hours security
For bookings that run after hours, a security guard is required for the duration of the booking. Security is charged at $35 + GST per hour, with a minimum charge of five hours.

Creating within Te Ngahere
The Photo Studio is part of Te Ngahere, a kaupapa-led space that supports Māori and Moana creativity and enterprise.
It offers a grounded alternative to commercial studios, without unnecessary complexity, and is used by people creating with purpose.
